What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

It's a sample size of one, but I got a Vortex Defender ST on Amazon two months ago and have since registered it with the company. I think you're doing some unnecessary pearl clutching over potential weakness in their supply chain.

 

I have gotten knock offs from Amazon also and had to return them. Learned my lesson

 

I'd worry a whole lot more about that on ebay,than Amazon.

 

All you have to do is register it. I’ve bought over 10 red dots on Amazon, from holosun to trijicon and aimpoint. Never had that problem. As I said before, perhaps if you order the wrong items.

The CZ 457 Jaguar is actually a beautiful gun with a hardwood stock. Might get one myself if available!

 

I've been spending $$ hand over fist the last couple of weeks. Firearms related:

Ruger PC9 Carbine, 4 extra magazines and 1" low profile rings for the scope mentioned below.
Leupold VX Freedom 1.5-4x20 MOA ring scope.

I know, photo's or it didn't happen, right?? Everything is in the safe and the scope has not arrived yet so photos to come later. Here is a photo of a 3 shot group from 25 meters, prone position with sling, with irons.

 

Just as an aside, these are the things that I’ve encountered with Amazon and why I don’t buy from them anymore when it comes to Camera or gun stuff.

Knock off CR123 batteries
Knock off Howard Leight earmuffs
I ordered the adjustable 6 MOA RMR, they sent me the hybrid version claiming some California law that doesn’t prevent shipping to me

I only order crap like rodent repellent, laundry detergent, soap, etc. from Bezos.

But they even had the nerve to send me knock off dove soap made in China

Not sure what I missed but I didn't miss being told I have a small dick by a moderator for something I had nothing to do with.
I'm sure that is a rule violation somewhere.

 

Speaking of buying local (which I do), my LGS/Range is closing. Been a member for many years.

The Ruger PC9 has been at the top of my wish list for a long time. Might have to buy a bigger gun cabinet.

 

Last time I was there (back in early Summer...been busy with work), everything was great. I need to stop in this weekend to talk to someone to get some intel.

 

Coming here and complaining because the mod said we have small dicks... might want to rethink that. He included me but you don't hear me complaining. Obviously he's been standing nowhere near me when I took a piss.
