Hey guys. Just a quick question. Im looking to get beefier spindles. Same oem lift and style just stronger. Any recomendations. Im gonna put 35s on and need something stronger. Im gonna cut the fenders to get them to git blah blah. Im just looking for something that wont snap or start to bend on the trails. Or should i go with the weld reinforce brackets. Thanks

Go with a weld on kit. RC fabrication(instagram/facebook) are the only company i know of that fully encases the spindle, yet retains factory wheel clearance and retains sway bar. Heads up- if you don’t weld yourself, expect $6-800 for the work(full hub disassembly, spindle breakdown and rebuild). RC does do a “core” swap program, you order the pre welded spindle, and send your factory back to them once you swap(saves $$$$). There’s many other companies that make kits, but the RC fully wraps and has the best support for spindles on the market IMO.

I wheel hard on 35's and haven't had any issues yet...but I will weld on the DRT Fab brackets when it warms back up. Welding cast isn't ideal but possible with the right equipment. Now cam tabs are a different story...those hate wheeling on 35's.

Factory spindles are forged and weld perfectly fine. Well at least total chaos says they are forged.

Controlling heat input is important especially around the UBJ. I did a preheat ~200 just cause it was really cold out and just took my time welding and wrapped the one I wasnt welding in a blanket. I also wrapped them both and insulated as much as possible after I was done welding

Visually no distortion compared to an unwelded oem spindle and aligned no problem.

    Stawk as FUCK!
Weld-On spindle gussets is fine for any mid-travel or mild setup. If you're long travel, might as well get upgraded spindles which will likely be $2000+.
