I've got an old timer in my shop retiring mid January and heading for Vietnam. He said he's gonna do a 3 month stint and might fly back to pack his stuff and move there.

 

I don't get into the whole pronouns thing but if I did I would be he/ham #porkfatmakeseverythingbetter

 

I'm hoping, there were several years it sat stagnant

 

I need one of those cellar nozzles to wash the underside of my truck.

 

This is confusing me,too. We head to that area from mid Michigan to get relief from the cold. We skipped this year. It's been warmer here (not by much, but warmer)

I guess it's better to be lucky than good.

Evening crew, well I survived.
By the time the clock struck 9:00 I was out of the safety yellow/green jacket and down to a hoody and safety vest. Couldn't tell what the temperature was but I was cold from sweating . Holy cow we had some frozen mud inside the last 2 cell core PVC pipe that was like concrete.
The day went well until I was trying to fix a bundle that had only had 1 strap left on it from the shaking, well it snapped. Sooo I used the forklift to scoop it up and put in a rack and called it a day. We'll fix it Monday.

 

Yeah they call it a wabbler.

Well fellers, I've got to say this job wasn't the most fun.
The line rusted under the clamps that hold it to the cross member.



Only 2 fittings, 3 bolts, 1 nut & 1 stud -- what pain in the back...
This van is taller than the old one so I can't raise it as high, the ceiling is only 11 feet. I'm under there contorted just like working on the GMC again.



One of those jobs where you can only move the wrench 1/32 of a turn at a time.

That is the fitting with the yellow paint marker.

I drove my new $500 van tonight!

I optimistically gambled a Jackson at the filling station and set off for about 10 miles.
Although there is more work to go everything seems pretty good so far.

 

Muzzleloader Friday. Although we can still hunt tomorrow, the 2 remaining guys in our group with tags can't get out, so we are done. I shot another doe today, 3 during muzzleloader for me this year, I keep one and the rest get tagged and taken by one of the other guys, one went to the farmer where we do most of the hunting. 6 in total for the week.
