Last year I ordered and installed a set of blacked out headlights from Extreme Terrain because I hated the look of the all chrome headlights on my '23 SR. I loved the look of the blacked out headlights but they were absolute crap when it came to actually projecting light. Recently they started yellowing and I decided it was time to ditch them. I ordered a set of OEM SR5 headlights and installed them today. I'll miss the blacked out look, but these are a good compromise with some black accents. Lesson re-learned, you get what you pay for when it comes to aftermarket parts.

Nice. I am planning something similar. Going to mount a hair higher so it can't get snagged offroad and thin like yours instead of sticking out.

Well, calzone runs count in my book, extra points if you eat calzones with Alfredo Sauce.

Today some cheap fake leather AutoTrend seat covers for the win, and keeps the real leather underneath looking nice! This big lug (and best co-pilot ever), will destroy a set under a year, jumping in and out after mountain biking, hiking, etc. I thought I would try some red accent this time, I think i like it. Definitely dog approved!! IMG_5687.jpg

Nice work! What's the part # for that cubby? And did it come with a template, or did you have to do some inspecting and measuring before drilling?

I do have some splainin' to do, to my wife lol.
    you guys kill me haha!

I live in a working-class area of NJ; this is how a lot of the houses look.

The black truck is a guy that I have working on my bathroom. I have a few things going on with the house so cementing the driveway is lower on the list.

Getting my son a car, the S60 was high on my list as I'd rather not have a new driver using the other, more expensive vehicles. He's smacked the hood already of the S60, so my concern has already been proven reasonable.
I didn't have a parking spot for it so we pulled the fence down and I drive the Tacoma over what was previously landscaped, it will eventually be excavated and cemented over.

As far as the damage to the skid plate...my previous post on this thread was the replacement of the skid plate. I'm thinking of more extensive underbody coverage, but I can't help but think that the money would be better spent just cementing the parking spot in the first place.
The new, thicker skid plate is definitely holding up better than the factory sheet metal!

I figured that I have time as my youngest is a year away from needing a vehicle, driving in this could have been my excuse for getting her an FJ or 4Runner. This repair has caused me to reconsider leaving the parking spot like this.

We live and we learn, some a little slower than others.

If you guys would like to see it for yourselves, I'd gladly take a beer for my time! I may put you to work though as driveshafts don't replace themselves lol.

Made a new mid height bed rack, then decided to make some tonneau cover bracket adapters.
Not worried about opening the cover, I can easily reach everything that goes in the bed.
