Hello, I purchased a new hard brake line from the dealership (part# 47315-04180) and am having trouble installing it. I'm try to feed it through the engine bay starting from below where it meets the 2-way connector. That alone is a huge PITA. Now that I have it almost in place, I'm noticing that it doesn't fit. A lot of the bends are not the correct angles.

Did the dealership give me the wrong part, or do I need to alter the bends myself? I've searched YouTube for videos but nobody goes into detail about the issues that I am having.

    Rebending hard tubing is risky.

Its a 2011, and the tubing is for the left front side. I purchased the tubing from the dealer so it should be the correct part. It look the same but it is definitely not bent the same way that my original tubing was bent. its Did I receive the wrong part possibly?

It's 4WD. The hardline is going from the aluminum junction on the upper right side (driver side) of the engine bay all the way to the 2-way connector right by the wheel on the other side of the truck.

the red line from the diagram is what I ordered.

Thanks for your help. Everything points to it being the correct part, its just that its bent in the generally same way as the old line, but several bends are WAY not the same as the one I removed and it won't fit because of it.

Is it made this way to make it easier to install and then bent to fit once in the engine bay? Or should it be sold just as it should be installed?

If it’s doesn’t match the one you took out I’d say it’s wrong part. Just curious how did that hard line go bad if it’s in the engine bay? Are you up north?
