I have an issue where all three speakers on the right side of the truck are very faint. When I fade over to each individually all 3 are working.
I pulled the head unit and reconnected everything in the back after i was driving around a corner and everything came back momentarily but went back out on another tight corner, which led me to believe a loose connection.
I have looked around a couple of threads and found a suggestion to disconnect the battery for 30 min then reconnect and that does work until i shut the truck off and come back in a couple days to the same issue.
I have a stock head unit on a 23 model, aftermarket kicker Cs speakers wired with the aftermarket harnesses kits-nothing spliced-I have had everything in for more than a year and a half.
Is this possibly a common issue with the head unit? Do these not last very long?

Or Battery? The truck just turned 2 years, which is a little less than what you usually get with a battery-but it is stock. Any suggestions?

When you installed the speakers, how did you connect the wires to the speaker terminals? Did you use the little spade connectors, or attach them more permanently?

They are attached to the spades.

I would pull the door panels and check those connections. Check the terminals on the speakers, and check the connections inside the plastic connectors. Sometimes there can be corrosion inside the connector that causes issues.

also, there’s a chance it’s internal in the radio itself. That one isn’t any fun because there’s not really any repairing it.

True, but at least OP is still under warranty there

Problem is, they will blame his aftermarket speakers, blame his install, blame anything they can.

OP, do you still have the factory speakers? If so, pop them back in and see if the problem persists

Not a bad idea if possible. I surmise it's a head unit or wiring issue..question is, how much did OP change re wiring

I am leaning toward a HU.
    1. Becuase it's the entire right side and not the individual speakers themselves.
    2. I was able to reset the fault, and a random corner brought the speakers back into play.
Unfortunately my truck is now outside of warranty. I was hoping to put this off but i just bought an aftermarket HU, the Sony XAV-9000ES.
I will update after i install. Thank you for the help
