Sixty Five knives for sale

Back story, I'm going through my dad's effects and i have his collection of pocket knives. I kept his worn and dull carry, and am selling the rest of the collection.

65 knives, $600. Not wanting to split yet, because anyone that splits it out and sells individually could make 2-3x my ask, easily. Probably more if you clean one of them up and/or manage to get original retail prices. It's a great way to keep what you like and make some pocket change. It's just a project I don't want to take on at the minute.

I’m trying to figure out how I could take possession of this without explaining to my wife how I came into possession of even more dozens of knives.

 

You bought a $5 raffle ticket on the set and won! Of course......

 

What I do is sell 1 item on offer up and have her give it to the guy when he pulls up. She collects the $10, you let her keep it and tell her that knife cost you $2……she smiles and thinks….“We’re going to be rich”

I might have more time to deal with it after the new year. Once I get some other things donated/ cleaned and the holiday decor put back into storage, then I'll have room to take it out, properly assess it, and break things down for individual sale.

I’d probably drive over to pick up a couple pocket knives if you decide to sell individually.

 

I think I'll split them out for individual sale, I'll revisit this and start listing after I put decorations away in January. This year's cleanup day happens to be the same day as the brewery meet; I might need an excuse to break for lunch anyway.
