Hello Everyone. Using this as a last resort. Please help. 1997 auto v6 taco. Engine light has always been on since owning the truck but it ran great. Lost a cuckoo see yesterday and was throwing code that cylinder two had misfire and intermittent skip.
Today I changed all coils, spark plugs and wires. check engine light went off until heavy acceleration, whether it starts to flash, then light goes off. Seems to still have a dead cylinder as idle is really ruff and lots of vibration while running.
    Whats next ????
I pulled battery cables to reset computer. Vacuum lines seem ok…. Can’t seem to find a leak.
    please help !!!

Flashing means catastrophic misfire, so a cylinder is still dumping fuel and its not igniting.

Dont drive with a flashing light.

You need to diagnose it, it may be compression, fuel injector, spark anything.

Like an idiot, I didn’t write down the code at Oreilly. I will go back in am and have them do another scan. Just put two bottles of seafoam in a half full tank.
