I have the rear bench cover for my pooch. Only complaint is no seatbelt access with cover installed. Great fit and material though. Tougher than my BBQ cover.

Found the hack of the century for steel bumper removal and install, use the Harbor freight lift table and a cardboard box from the winch kit to support the front of the bumper, perfectly balanced, nimble as a ballerina! Turn a two man bumper mounting job into a single man job, toooooo easy.

Yeah, I would probably do the same if I was in the market. The ones without the cutout logo are $2-300 more expensive and most aftermarket is garbage other than morimoto!

 

Pool Noodle Sound Deadening Mod.
A few weeks ago I did the pool noodle modification. I zip tied three pipe insulator tubes together, and then wrapped fireproofing sheets around that using a zip tie and electrical tape around the zip tie to protect the paint. Shove that at the bottom of the gap between the cap and truck bed.

Then, I drove to and from Louisiana and Raleigh, North Carolina for Thanksgiving. It definitely made a huge difference in cabin noise and made for a much more comfortable ride.

Why not just use a pool noddle? I've had one in behind my cab for 2 years now. It has not moved.

Pool noodles were tough to find anywhere in-town (seasonality, I suppose), and at the time I order on Amazon, the only decently price option that I'd get on time was the pipe insulation.

I added the fireproof material because I ran into a horror story from TW member cryptolime:

 

Reverting my hairy armrest, I got a replacement material already, will update when it's all back in truck... I suppose I got tired of hair floating around cab, and no apparently easy way to fluff the hair back to original clean condition.

download YouTube on the headunit. Using a phone as a hotspot and not linking to the car play itself. It has the ability to split screen like windows desktop.

install is super easy. Hardest part will be figuring out which connectors are not required. But I had mine installed in about 60 mins taking my time.

 

Drove around aimlessly trying to get my O2 sensor to “ready” so that I can pass smog and get my new registration. I had about given up when it finally did its thing.

I ordered the harness from Dave Easa. FBC solutions. The headlights were ordered from Larry H Miller Toyota in Lemon Grove, CA. Norm Reeves Toyota in San Diego, CA has comparable prices. Toyota just had a big 25% off sale. You should wait for the next one. About $1200 on sale shipped give or take.
