The trucks I vaguely recall seeing may have been Prerunners I kind of recall a good amount of badging on the tailgate, and the mud flaps didn't have 4x4 on them it was definitely an SR5. This could be hindsight and confirmation bias on my part from memory and what I think I know about Tacoma trucks.

Maybe all or most SR5 were Prerunners and why I thought it had a V6, and specific to allocation region?

Full console, from shifter back to the actual console box. Yes my 06 was a factory SR5, with factory color matched fender flares. It didn't have any SR5 badging, but have the SR5 convenience package is what it was called. Which included, buckets seats, full console, sliding back window, intermittent wipers and color matched parts. Also, was a 5spd.

Yeah, I’m exactly that minus the TPMS. Pretty stoked on it.

You are correct, I said in my last post there wasn't any SR5 badging, but I remember, it did have a chrome SR5 badge on the tailgate.

    Ok
Fess up on what you had to do to get power mirrors. That’s the only thing I miss on my 05 & 07 base regular cabs! I thought my buddy @daveeasa was going to figure it out for us but he’s been too busy apparently.

    Thanks in advance…

i do have the switch for dash for pwr mirrors but only wired up the blinkers......so far. Figured i would wire up the pwr part later since you can click them into place where you can see out of them and only me driving it so no mirror moving necessary. gots me about 5 wiring projects on the list and that is one of them.......audio controls, inverter, some cb antenna, ditch lights, hid spots, etc....long story short, have not wired my pwr mirror function yet. would run off switched pwr source to switch then however many wires from switch to mirrors on each side. not sure what else there would be to it. truck came with nothing in door except speaker wires.

all, this was after scoring the oem 2012 base black non blinker pwr mirrors on the cheap. then bought the color matched blinker covers and oem blinkers for them and then later taking them apart to run blinker wiring and replace oem blinkers unit with led sequential ones. tapped blinker wiring in drvr kick panel and ran to each door thru mirror to blinker units.

I made some progress since I was able to pick up a used 2008 Tundra console from a scrapyard near work. There are a lot of these scrapyards around my work area but never been to them until now, was like a kid in a candy store.

Before I found the 2008 console, I looked at some 2009 to 2013 Tundras and while they all had the consoles, none of those had the light I was seeking.

I took it home and disassembled it.

The console before I took it apart:

Some disassembly photos and testing of the light. It looks like it will be pretty easy to adapt. I will post up a seperate thread with some part numbers when completed.

The Eibach's and AAL are on and I'm afraid she's a little too tall for CV angles and whatnot. I don't have my exact measurements in front of me but I know I'm at 24" + hub to fender on the front. I can adjust the fronts down but I'm afraid I'll have crazy rake (I believe a truck should have rake but maybe not inches of rake). Also hoping everything will settle a little bit.

I'm just beginning to shop for a slim subwoofer. I've got a small 200w 4 channel Kicker amp behind the dash and I'm looking for something to fit under the seat. My question does anyone have a recommendation for an enclosure and subwoofer that fits?

Nice. Maybe I can find one at my local pull-a-aparts. Wonder if there is a part number for the light.

Ask Jeremy about this one in the link, he’s wired them. I’ve installed 3 of them in 3 different Tacos.
On the regular cabs I used a sheet / plate of 6061 .200 wall stitch welded the to a 1 x 2 x 30” rectangular .250 bar and had it powdered coated flat black.
Then installed eight 6mm riv nuts on the ribs and cross bar on the back of the cab. Before mounting I sound deaden the back of the cab and contact cement carpet to the cab. See picture below…

I am pretty sure the light itself is 81080-48010 per diagram lookup but oddly, it doesn't show the bezel it clips into.

I searched it, that is the correct number, just wish it had the wiring pigtail.

The wiring harness that I removed from the console has a part number on it. It has a connector that goes into the light but it also comes with two other connectors which are for the two DC car charging ports in the Tundra console. I just unpinned and removed the specific wiring for the light only. P/N for the harness is 82166-0C110.
