Oh ok. I don’t often carry weight around. I have a hard Tri fold tonneau cover and that’s about it so far.

    Just the basics
Recently found out one of my OME leaf broke. Leaning towards a Deaver pack. When I went there before they weren't really helpful choosing the right ones to get.

You may want to reach out to Hotshot Off-road ( @memario1214 ) , I believe they sell them. He has been very helpful the few times I've talked with him.

    I appreciate the nod! :hattip:
We can definitely help you spec out a fresh leaf pack given your build-out and use case. I'll shoot you a message!

So do the front usually get alittle more lift?
2 inch stage one in rear with 2 plus in front?
Also whats the best couple shock options for a 2nd Gen that’s mainly a daily driver with some trails on weekends. No crazy wheeling in this dclb with topper.

As always "best" coilover is relative and subjective. Kings have a large following.

Bilstein have a selection going from stock to wild. TRD 6112's

Well I guess it depends on your preference and how much rake you want on your truck. My truck is almost leveled, but the rear sits alittle higher so if I load it up it stays around level.

mines a daily driver and I went with King shocks, it’s probably over kill on the off roading I do, but I don’t regret it. It just all depends on your budget.

I faced a similar choice and went with Stage 1. They are in my garage waiting to replace the AAL. I only have a topper on the daily, +200# on weekends. I was concerned Stage 2 would have too much lift with a light load which I’ve read can be 3” and also have a rougher ride.

I mean, technically any amount of weight will cause them to compress. That's how leaf springs are supposed to work. If they didn't, they would be too stiff when unloaded. The U402's are a really progressive pack (lots of leafs) so they will compress easily at first but the spring rate will increase as you add weight and engage more leafs.

And sag is relative. If you did something dumb like levelled the truck with no weight in the box, then literally any weight would cause the rear to look like its sagging. If you kept the factory rake, you could easily haul 500lbs and not looked sagged. I haven't pushed them to the limits yet but my stage 1's still had some arch left with ~600lbs in the box before. They hold up really well to weight.

    Great explanation!
Curious what your lift you get with nothing up to 250lbs?
I know there advertised as 2 inch but I figured that was fully loaded.
    Thanks

I get about 2.5" with nothing, not even the spare, in the box. With about 200lbs it's closer to 2".

I added a set of 6112/5160 along with Deaver Stage 1 Leaf Springs almost 2 weeks ago now. Loving the much improved ride. All purchased through Hotshot Offroad.

The ride height has already settle some, current gains with a full tank of gas and an additional ~300#s of bed weight, before and after...

    Before Front DS 34 3/8 After 36 3/8.
    Before Front PS 35 3/8 After 36 3/4.

    Before Rear DS 35 1/2 After 38 1/8.
    Before Rear PS 36 1/8 After 38 7/16.

What spring did you choose to go with the 6112 (600,650,700 lb)? and your added weight in the front? (Bumper, skid plates, dual battery, winch, sliders, etc)

600, I only have minimal additional weight on the front. A slightly larger battery, probably a extra 5#s. The TRD aluminum skid, 20ish more #s. And the aluminum Victory 4x4 bumper 30-35#s, no winch. So 50-60#s max. Drives/handles well... much better than stock.
