Just completed gold mountain with my brother and his buddy. Three vehicles total. Only needed 2 tugs

Started the day with a rainbow.

The side steps identified as sliders today... They are no longer straight. All things considered, it was a great trip.

Cool trail for sure. Did it myself this last July (no tugs)

    Are you locked up front?

Negative. Only locked in the rear with 285 tires. It was my first time doing actual 4x4. Previously all my wheeling was done in a Tacoma 2wd long bed sport. I think my main issue was poor line choices and a low belly. My bilsteins are set at 1.5" lift. It probably didn't help that my brother in 37s made it look easy. He's locked front and rear.

Wow! That's quite the trail for your first 4x4 run... (dove right into it! lol)

But yeah, as you do more & more of it, you'll certainly get better at it as well as figuring out what more your truck needs. Lift & lockers certainly are key with this kind of terrain (a bit more so than tires even IMO).
