Cooper Rugged Trek Tires on Winter Roads

So we got a little winter storm here in Michigan and I was able to put my new Coopers to the test!

I purposely took back roads home from work because I knew they wouldn’t be salted or paved. The roads were bad, ice mixed with slush and these tires did absolutely amazing. I did not break traction under normal driving conditions at all. However I did hit the breaks to make them slide just to see how bad the roads were before having to stop at stop signs, and even then I could feel them gripping more then sliding.

the biggest test was when I got home. I have an inclined driveway and I always had to put it in 4wd to make it up it. (New Hankook Dynapro ATM’s) Not this time, went right up in 2wd. Though they did spin a little, they were gripping the entire way and I made it easily. I even reversed and backed up my drive in 2wd and easily made it.

I highly recommend these tires to anyone that lives in the winter belt!
