So I’m thinking of going 35” on my truck.
Does anyone know someone in the Bay Area / Central Valley that does fender trimming to fit 35 tires.

As of now I don’t have a lift installed. Thinking of swapping my Bilstein 8112 and DK UCA onto my 3rd Gen and hoping it’s enough lift

already have a CMC and ViperCut

I don’t know CA at all so you two might not be anywhere close to each other but maybe @Superdave1.0 https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/superdaves-lift-installs-mechanic-service.682299/

First mistake is thinking lifting ifs creates room for bigger tires. Partially true I'll give you that. Second, not doing the cutting yourself. You got this

I’ve bolted some stuff to it *lists cool stuff here*
With CMC and Viper cut already, confused on why trimming is on top of the list as far as order of operations. Are you not looking to lift with 35s? Install the suspension and tires see where it’s at? Then worry about cutting anything further :notsure:

Pinch weld will need be smashed/folded and inner fender liners will need to be trimmed / heat molded regardless of lift, unless you don’t plan to articulate your suspension at all. But yes, install the UCAs and 8112s, adjust lower alignment cams to push wheel forward. Front adjuster inboard and rear adjuster maxed outboard. I would see where the 35s are stuffed lock to lock and go from there. CMC and trimming of the front bumper/liner (viper cut) are already done so that’s helpful. Also depending on wheel offset clearing the UCA with the tire is another part of fitting them. Finish it off with a good alignment, and make sure lower cams are not touched by the alignment shop.

    Lots of info here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-those-that-wheel-and-love-alignments.594309/

    edit:
Noticed you are in Fresno/Modesto, Marlin Crawler could knock that out, but not sure how booked out they are. Otherwise Beeps, Milogen in the bay, and Supreme fab, Hot metal Fab, Steller and others in sac could do the same for you. But really just need some time with a 5lb sledge, heat gun, razor, multi tool with a cutting blade, some good sealer to finish off the pinch weld and some patience.

I had Milo trim my front fenders and flares, since he was working on the truck at the time anyway. Had him match it up with my front bumper - it looks clean, and I'm not looking ripping into them with my tires when turning. Didn't bother with the rear since I'd need to modify my rear bumper and the tires don't rub on the fenders anyway (or, at least, they didn't - I haven't had a chance to check how they stuff since getting my shock relocate). Still trying to decide if I want to chop the inners or get the JD fab kit.

That being said, I would not move to 35s without a lift.
