I honestly think it’s cruel. There is absolutely no reason to breed deer to have racks that score 400+ inches except for money. These deer are hunted and killed inside of high fences by self proclaimed HUNTERS!

The last two deer I carried to the taxidermist for Cole, the guy had a nice buck he was mounting. Both times for the same guy. He would fly out, shoot it, send it to him and pay him $3,500 to have it done by Thanksgiving so he could brag about it.

+1 1000%!! bottled fed at birth at some of these places.. these animals can’t be healthy, not as nature intended anyways. what a joke, honestly makes a deer like yours this year that much better.. have to second guess every trophy whitetail I’ve ever seen :annoyed:

I knew a guy that raised bison. He was just raising them to sell for meat but he'd let the buyer kill it if he wanted to. He said most were big wig lawyers from NY and they'd go home and tell stories about hunting buffalo out westo_O:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

These bison were in a pen like cattle...

That’s where “managing” deer ends up. Just go hunting and don’t worry about it so much.

Yeah but these were just normal “good” deer. Nothing spectacular.

Sorry that I caused a 'rook-uss' as Festas Hagan used to say. I don't think this is hunting either, just killing. After reading a bit more on this deer:
Rocky Ridge Whitetails is just a deer farm/breeder that sells the bucks to private preserves.
Quest Haven Lodge is where the deer was killed.

Look up Quest Haven Lodge and you can see the various prices and other freak bucks killed there. My assumption from doing this is that this freak cost $24,000.

What a freakin joke this is!!!
