    Grandson had a discussion about engines the other day and was looking for decent quality 8 cylinder model engine kits for him to get into wrenching. I stumbled across TOYAN. Wow. Just wow. This one is a horizontally opposed Porsche reproduction.

    That's where the Toyan's come from, there's even a V8.

    As for my "task," I went with the Revell V8 engine, second version with the hand crank. The original electric motor one can't be found (by me, at a price worth the effort.) I decided on that one because none of the other V8 models have any manifold/injector modeling, this one has a carb and manifolds. Trying to get grandson into wrenching, we'll see how it goes, if he doesn't like it I've always wanted one for no real reason. :D
