I'm looking to get spidertrax 1.25 spacers. I have read other threads and they are a little mixed especially with different tires and all.

I'm currently running 265/70/17 hankook at2 xtreme tires.
Looking to eventually do a 2.5 in level and go with the 17″ FN Wheels ƒ(x) Pro wheels with the 265/70/17.

Will it rub with this setup or will I be ok?

Pic has the current tires I'm running and plan to run in the near future

I've ran them for years first with 235 85 16 then 255 85 16. being your tires are under 32" in height my guess is you'd be just fine.

    So the 255 85 16 is about the same as a the 285 70 17 right?

The biggest difference is that the 255 is narrower but height wise they don't differ all that much. once you have a lift it'll clear better too daily driving. a 285 will probably nick your factory mud flap while turning negotiating a parking lot. tiresize.com is a good tool

That's why I was going to stay with the 265/70/17. I like the width of the tire and I have driven on it since 2009 when I had my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500.

I remember I used to run 235/85 16 with the 1.25 spacer on factory wheels no clearance issues. when I went to the 255s it touched just a little. and then I ran a 2-in spacer in the front for a while and because of the scrub radius I did a cab mount chop. and that was with a 2-in lift. with 265 70 17 and the spacer even stock I think you're probably good with a lift you'll be even better clearance wise. but I bet somebody's ran that exact combination on here and has real world experience that I don't have however. every truck is different too which is weird... some people rub some people don't.

This is very true. I have been reading and have read where one mod will work for one truck but have issues on another. Even though they are the same exact truck.
