My tires were 30 years old on my car before I replaced them due to wear but there was ZERO cracking on the sidewalls or in the treads. The car was always stored inside which makes a big difference. Older tires also had a LOT more lamp black in them which kept rubber from breaking down so fast when exposed to the elements. At 6 years old, the Pirelli's on my one truck, even with low miles, was cracked FAR more then I was happy with, especially on the sidewalls.

Those tires would last years on the farm, DD, nah.

Meso spare fuse holder. Aluminum gas cap holder. Genuine Toyota bed lights. Bed molle racks. Ammo case storage under hood. In-bed spare tire. Automatic underhood lights. Gooey glurp on frame.
Cosmo tires are another Made-In-China brand. They may be perfectly OK. I try very hard to avoid Chinese made tires.

New tires on it now, bam! Happy to be driving safer. Still amazed at how old those were.
I went with the Cosmo El Tigre AT tires. They had excellent ratings online from both review sites and customers. Also got them because while they are AT tires, they are also all season rated. So kind of a hybrid. Seemed perfect. Pics attached.

I'm also in the PNW west of the mountains. For street/snow and occasional trips on the beach or forest service roads, I recommend Michelin Defender LTX. Quiet on the street. Works well in the snow up to about 6-8 inches. Has plenty of siping so works well in the rain and the occasional frost. If you look through many of the tire threads for mostly on-road usage it is hands down the most recommended tire. If they're available in the size I need, I run them - Taco, 4Runner, Tundra, class C RV and an Acura SUV.

I have one mostly unused '98 taco that I experiment with other brands - I'm running vredestein pinza AT's and they seem OK.

After 5-6 years they need to be replaced usually. The "quick inspection" I gave your tires showed cracking and chunking and the year made date made me wince. New tires for you! Plus I bet it will ride better, that rubber is hard as a brick.
