    I don't think the 4Runner sells in high enough numbers to be on the most stolen list, but it will be sure to remain on the high risk list, subject to the $500 annual insurance surcharge.
    Yes I think SR5 will be the volume trim this time around, whereas previously the Limited (with the low pro tires and ghey side skirts) seems to be the most popular in the GTA.

    When you don’t let your car heat up long enough to do an oil change an -9c with the wind temps at -17c. The cast aluminum ain’t happy.

    The stud was loose and able to be taken out with the tip of a finger.

    every 10 minute job right……:annoyed::bananadead::frusty:

    thankfully one’s coming tomorrow from Amazon for $30

    the corolla we have has a plastic one of those but forget that drive over hear to Toronto when you need an oil change we have one more day of -5 and then back up to +5 :thumbsup:

    The Lexus had a plastic one. It broke too. Call me old fashion but I’m a fan of the old throw away filters…..

    Lol the Amazon listing for the cap shows user reviews with the same failure mode:

    I just remove the front skid and loosen the filter cap directly, without bothering with the drain spigot. Is the cap located in an inconvenient spot on the Camry or something?

    So when I started doing the canister filters I found the drain was always stuck and would spin the filter off. So I just always remove the filter and do the drain at the bench to replace the gasket. This time the plug failed.

    glad I’m not the only one with a similar failure.

    good to know! Not bothering to change that ever again lol. If it leaks then maybe but great to know.

    if only I couldn’t replace the broken stuff a bunch of times before buying that lol.
