I replaced it 5/23. Is it ok/normal to see a little grease? It’s not on the water pump pulley, meaning what ya see in the pic is what’s there. Spins fine….
Guess I’ve never asked whether some visible grease on bearings is ok…. I guess it would make sense that once compressed some might escape….

    Yes. It’s normal.

    Nothing to worry about.

Thank you! I’ve replaced a number of them, but by that time it matters not if they’re like this, in other words, it’s been determined that something’s wrong with them. & then there are others, like the timing belt ones which if you’re in there for a belt job, typically get replaced no matter what….

It’s an Aisin. Recommended by those in the know on here. I believe it’s what Toyota factory installed. Has a Koyo bearing, which is their goto brand. I can’t recall if I bought it on Amazon. Might be able to find it cheaper on EBay?

    Thank you!
Honestly I would prefer to get from yota parts dealer so it is guaranteed genuine part
    Plus the discount off MSRP
But unfortunately I was told it is not separate from the full assembly pulleys fluid coupler and all :annoyed:
