    6112/5160 Deaver stage 1 Are topper Steelies,255/80/17
Both on a 2nd Gen with 2 inch front 2-2.5 rear lift.
    17x7.5 steelies
May trim fenders 1 inch later down the road just because I like the look.
Close in size but seems the 285 has more options.
    255 is e rated.

my tire choices I like in both are Toyo rt trail or bfg ko2/3

    - ICON UCAs, BP51/Kings, SCS wheels, 285s, Leer 100XR canopy. Greenlane aluminum winch bumper, Smittybilt X20 winch. Trying Falken AT3w now, Really like BF KO2s.
I really like the 285 size. I have ran the KO2 for years, really liked it, tough, good weight, worked great. The KO3 is looking good, way better in the snow than the Falken AT4w. I’m trying Falken AT3w now, they are 10lbs heavier same size and load range. The KO2 in 285 70 17 C load is 51lbs and the Falken is 61lbs - porky.
You have to do a bit of work to make 285s fit but it’s not bad.
255s are cool as well, E load mostly so tough but heavy, Toyo make great tires, reputation for being tough, the RT look good, the cooper st maxx or mickey thompson Baja’s look good
255s fit with less work. I thought about giving them a go, less mud down the side of your truck with them vs the 285s
