    Hi Experts,
I have a 2020 Tacoma SR 4x4. Stock 245x75x16 tires. It would be nice to sit up a few inches taller. My last Tacoma was a 2004 Prerunner SR 5 TRD. I think it was taller? I do miss it.

I purchased this KSP kit from Amazon at a very reasonable price.

Will this cause other components to fail/cause problems? Is this kit missing important items? Shocks, etc.?

How do you use the truck? Why are you lifting it? If just for looks and nothing else, you will be okay for the near future. If you off-road or cycle the suspension a lot, you will have a lot of problems as you are changing the geometry of the front suspension and creating a larger fulcrum on the rear axle with the lifting blocks.

Well if you really want to do it on the cheap like that best to add extended bump stops carrier bearing spacers, ecgs clamshell bushing and try to cv boot slide mod or start stocking up on replacement cv boots or just entire cv's as you can now over extend them and possibly damage the joint.
Side note please tell me you have plans for larger tires with this as these trucks look absurd with stock tires/wheel offset and a lift.

There's many many many threads on here with every bit of info you are looking for but if this is a street truck run it stock and enjoy no problems.

I am far from an expert but I'll share my experience. Installed a Ready Lift 3"/2" on my 22 a few days after delivery. Loved the look but just couldn't get it aligned properly. Instead of continuing to throw suspension parts and money at it I just went back to stock. The ride wasn't awful but it wasn't great either. Probably do a mild lift when I'm due for new tires but not as big as I did before.

Holy Cheap-Meister, Batman! I just spent $100 for a NOCO GB40 for my nephews wife so she can be safe. OP indicated no attention to the UCAs for new travel limits, did not ask here first, no attention to rear-leafs if the OP decides that the lift makes it ready to rock-crawl.

I am constantly amazed at how many people spend $1000 for "appearance only" changes, but many those at least were considering the effects on the truck. $100 for parts that your rely on to keep your truck from collapsing on its own component or the ground ... utterly insane.

    Friday ... o_O:annoyed::crazy::facepalm:

No off road, just street, for looks. Ok, I will return. My wife is happy now, lol. I appreciate your thoughts and wisdom on this lift kit. I'll wait to the tires are worn out and then purchase larger tires.

We are NOT all about spending money just to spend. Many have learned the hard way, and I try to listen.

Fools never learn. Smart people learn from their own mistakes. Wise people learn from the mistakes of others.

Best advise is if you want the best return on investment in terms of looks and performance with the least amount of issues. Is to do a 0 offset wheel with either a 265/70r17 or 255/80r17. For street use i would stick with an SL rated mild all terrain that will give the truck a good stance and overall appearance with only a mild mpg drop if any but no issues with odd vibrations or additional wear and tear.

My old set up all stock suspension just a 265/70r17 duratrac on a 17x9 +1 wheel

Not too hard to figure out. For anything that you change to deviate from factory engineering and safety tests, you should expect problems including safety issues.
This reminds me of the old Bubba backyard lift for Jeeps that was simply jacking it up with extended shackles.
And don't forget.......ya get whatcha pay for!

    Heed these words...

This is why I did the awesome 2" Bilstein 5100 lift with no more than a 1" block in the rear, making room for my 33 shoes.

Anything over 2" on these trucks just increase big problems. This has been stated 1000's of times.
