I have a 2018 Tacoma. the other day, I added air to my tires. screen read tire pressures. next day, no readings showed. Had a mechanic reset the screen. next day, no readings. I followed manual to reset. after turning ignition off, again no reading. What's going on?

Many vehicles (not sure about Tacomas) you have to drive a bit to "wake up" the sensors so the readings display.

DM93, did that. the service guy got it to read pressure, I also did a reet per the owners manual and got the pressure to display and continued driving. drove all morning today and nothing displays. it should display after about 1/4 mile.

Interesting, I'm not well versed in 3rd gen systems but I have came across a few threads in the 3rd gen section about the tire pressures not displaying although I haven't really read into them to see if anyone found a solution.

I just took truck out, pushed the reset button and the tire pressure displayed after about 3/4 mile. got to my destination and turned off the ignition. 15 minutes later restarted truck and drove 6 miles and the tire pressure never displayed. Seems that it only displays only after i do a reset (????)

Odd..... This morning, I did a reset just for shits and giggles. tire pressure readings came on after a few minutes of driving. made several stops and readings were displayed after a few minutes of driving each time like it's supposed to. I'm happy that it's working, but, WTH?
