I've recently picked up the Kicker HS8 powered subwoofer and am currently deciding where to place it. My two options are either under the driver/passenger seat which means I have to cut up my Husky Liner mats in order to get it to fit, or behind the rear seat on the wall. My only concern with that is airflow. How hot do these powered subs usually get and should the lack of airflow back there be a concern?

Edit - This is a double cab so the rear seats fold down. I realize I'd be losing the cargo space but I never store anything behind there anyways.

No worry about airflow behind the seat. It will hamper the performance a noticeable amount though, having the seat in front of it
