Is there a site that has price comparisons from various dealers for OEM parts? Or is my best bet searching for the parts I need on a bunch of dealers sites?

It used to be that way until Toyota changed their website. Now you have to know the part you want and click the link to each dealer to compare prices.

Larry H Miller Toyota in Lemon Grove, CA and Norm Reeves Toyota in San Diego, CA usually have good prices. I usually buy from the first one.

If there's a specific 3rd gen accessory I could probably tell you the price range of it. I've tracked a few items over the years.

So like a Priceline dot com kayak dot com type of site to compare items. Definitely would be an easy way to shop for parts.

Somewhere in this forums a few years ago someone created a google docs file that tracked...something...I think it was prices but may have been just a big search tool for parts. I think. So maybe a few searches using keywords will find that link if you're lucky. Sorry this isn't much help, I remember playing with it for a while and then never going back lol.

EDIT: I think I remember now, it was a tool that could tell you the status of your special order truck from the dealer or where to locate exactly what you want. or something like that.

You're looking for something like gun.deals.com but for Toyota parts.
    Yeah that would be nice.

I absolutely am. Gun.deals was what gave me the idea.

There is a site called www.cruisin4parts.com that compares almost all sites. It was created for Land Cruiser guys but it's all Toyota anyway...

Edit: Looks like it's down for maintenance at the moment but it worked really well last time I was able to use it.
