Idk anything about rust. Is this really bad? What can I do?

    Kinda wanna sell my Tacoma but there's like these little pockets of rust around these areas. I would say 95% of the frame is perfect.

    Based on that I'd be OK with it, needs attention though. I'd call it surface rust, so far. Get a ball peen hammer and tap the frame, especially where the rear suspension joins the frame. It should have a nice metallic ring, if you hear dull clunks - that's rusting out.

    Wire brush it clean and re-coat with Waxoyl or Fluid Film annually. Be sure to do inside the frame rails as well. Waxoyl makes a product with a long wand for that.

    Hit it with some ospho or other rust converter and then prime, then paint. I dont see anytbing concerning there.
