Volant closed box air filter lid

So the lid for my volant closed box air intake lid cracked does anyone know where I can find another or maybe one that’s made out of better materials because the screws weren’t overly tight the hood smacked one of the screws when I closed it and it spiderweb cracked the lid is it easier to just make one I was thinking of just using sheet metal and making one and putting some thin foam around the edges like the volant one to keep it sealed

 

I'd say if you can't find one, then you already have a solution in mind.

 

Volant will sell you the parts. I bought just the intake tube and connected it to my stock airbox. Who knows, they might even send you a replacement part for free.
