Looking at getting a fan for my truck bed.. preferably not wired to truck. Would this would to simply hook up to a fan and or any recommendations for a solar powered fan? Or recommended chargeable usb fan?

My wife loves this mini fan when we camp. I used it one weekend too. Its personal sized but you can charge it via USB.

No but I have used them in sailboats a lot. They aren’t designed to do a lot of cooling, mainly just to keep air moving and control moisture/humidity build up. Depending on where you live it may work as long as the side windows are opened to allow a source of fresh air to be pulled up and out.

If the fan is for an enclosed area, you may want to check cfm or cfh. Except for the marine solar mentioned earlier, most solar fans push a dismal amount of air and most don’t state the cfm.
In an open area, your guess is as good as anyone’s as to the fans air movement capabilities. In an enclosed area, you may want to be looking at how many “air changes per hour”.

Luckily the cap already has screened windoors so I'll have a source of fresh air. Hopefully something like this is strong enough to push out a sufficient amount of hot air.

The marine fan linked above has a state CFM of around 17. Based on my installation of bathroom fans at home, this seems sufficient for the smaller volume in the back of the truck.
