    Welcome to TacomaWorld :proposetoast:

What a sad commentary. Simple answer: Don't let them do ANY of that; Even in your own driveway except maybe an oil and filter change and an engine air filter. It doesn't otherwise need any of that other stuff for a while yet. I was going to say: Just get the oil and filter changed, but on second thought: take it somewhere else.... and: Run away from there: don't walk, and don't go back there.

For fuel system just add a bottle of fuel injector cleaner and call it a day .unless u have some miss fires or sluggish acceleration than dealer paid injection cleaning is a waste of money .

I vividly remember an encounter in the waiting room at the local dealer while waiting
Next time ask them how they do fuel system cleaning. We are all curious.

OP avoided the wallet-flush for sure!
I have friends that are dealer techs, they don’t like the service writers but have to work with them. None of this shit they personally recommend I do,,,, when they’re workin on my truck in their garage.

IMO never use Seafoam in a 3.5 direct injection engine.

PEA-based cleaners, such as Redline SI-1, Techron, and Gumout, can effectively clean direct injection nozzles, while Seafoam may not do as much.

minor, TRD skid plate, front recovery points, Regken mud flaps, rear diff breather, AC drain pipe extended. Upgraded sound with active sub woofer, tonneau cover, CB radio.
And I did the mentioned above package in my dealership, at mine 116 000 kms. (After I seen set of equipment they using for injectors flush e.t.c.) Spark plugs changed, throttle body cleaned, pcv valve replaced. What to say? By the sound, my in-laws Lexus 3.5 engine was whispering, and mine with 80 000 kms was sound like bucket of bolts and nuts shaken. Now it runs so smooth, whispering, acceleration dynamics waaay better, fuel economy improved (not a lot, but noticeable). Cost me +/- $1100 Cad. at my point money well spend, can recommend at certain mileage!

    EDIT/ P.S, Nota Bene:
I have a few very good buddies, who owe/run dealership, as well as few tach's
(why I allowed in workzone e.t.c.). So, I'll say I trust them... at 85%.

I add a bottle of Techron to a 1/4 tank of gas just before an oil change. (+- 5,000 miles. It works. It cleans the injectors and removes deposits from the pistons and valves. It's not a night and day improvement, but there is an improvement. Using "Top Tier" gas (certified on the pump) also helped to eliminate the stop-and-go hot-weather pinging I was getting as well.

Did they remove port and direct injector to run through the machine?
