nothing crazy, Sovol SV06 Plus. flawless operation so far. probably have about 24 hours of total print time between a dozen different items. very easy to adjust and calibrate. the Sovol specific version of Cura is easy and at this point, advanced enough.
first printer ive owned, but not the first ive been around. compared to the others in it's price range, it seemed to be the one with the fewest proprietary parts and one of the more solid bed designs. which were the big motivators

Comes with 5 center caps with TRD decals on them(light silver color decals), and a set of 24 lug nuts with spline key. Wheels are still in great condition with no curb rash or deep scratches. Had them on a 2022 4Runner for around 6k miles, returning to stock is why I'm selling. Asking $650 O.B.O. Located in Mt. Pleasant,SC-Not really interested in shipping, prefer a Local cash sale.

Specs for wheels are here: https://www.fnwheels.com/store/product/17-fn-wheels-five-star-set-of-four-wheels/

4runners are underrated. Such a good looking vehicle.

Did more of the SCAR today. Wrapped up Segment 1 and probably got 3/4 of Segment 2 done.

Started in Oak Grove and finished up on the Cedar Springs OHV trailhead near Abbeville.

Will probably try to finish up segment 2 and dabble in Segment 3 next weekend.

Nothing overly exciting on this trip. No washouts to dodge. One bridge was closed, likely due to lack of maintenance. I did check out a couple of trails that were noted in onX that speared right off of the route that were kinda neat.

I did enjoy driving through Edgefield. Quaint little town. Looked very picturesque.

Got the rack & pinion out. https://solomotorsports.com rack about to go in. Definitely time consuming but not hard.

I'll do a review on the new rack when I get a chance.

Dealer said internal failure on the OE rack, I've done a bit "too much" offroading with the truck bone stock so I'm assuming I wore out a bushing or something. Not convinced but had them rebuild a unit and install poly bushings.

Something was causing the truck to have excessive bump steer, and everything from uppers to lower UCA bushings and all four ball joints had zero play. Frustrated I took the truck to the dealer and gave them the complaint and they said they found the rack to have excessive play, I'm assuming runout was way out of spec.

I'm looking forward to it being fixed, hopefully with this and the Bilstein 5100's it will feel like it did at 14k miles. I'm gonna run without the sway bar too for now and see how I like it.

If all is good, and I'm not chasing tail here.. I'll have Solo rebuild the rack that came out of the truck and inspect it for the cause. I'm gonna have them do my F350 box too if they turn out to be a solid choice.

    Thanks for the offer anyhow!

You won't notice it's gone after a couple of drives in it.

I feel like warranty would have covered something like that failing in less than 5 years.

Hey @w.adventures saw your post in the RC thread. replying here because RC enthusiasts and Welders seem to be the two most opinionated groups i've ever been a part of :anonymous:

100% the right move to go with more of a brand name than a $70 toy. if you go with anything that doesn't fit the "brand name" category in the RC world, it'll likely end up sitting in the corner of the garage collecting dust because one part broke and you can't find a replacement, or it's taking 2 months to arrive from china.

if $150 is your cap, look at https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08L8WGXPX
Traxxas is the biggest brand there is in RC, so as a first timer into the hobby, it'll be nice to have easy access to support, as well as a large aftermarket.
it's not a true monster truck, but it has a bit of the look, and your son will be able to drive it like one. for sub $150, in my opinion, this is going to be the best bang for your buck. it's going to be more reliable than anything else in the price range, but still plenty fast to have some real fun right out of the box. it's also a platform that can be upgraded as his ability to drive it advances. being a 1/18 scale, the parts for it are far less expensive than the standard 1/10 scale. it's kind of like building an off road truck though, where buying the truck is the cheap part. but down the road, a $120 motor and engine controller upgrade could make the Teton a 50 MPH bullet.

I got into hobby grade off road RCs before i had a drivers license. i credit the hobby with being a big part of what got me interested in engineering, and 100% the reason i got into off roading and built the tacoma. may sound silly, but this truck could literally influence your sons life in a wonderful way.
