I accidently dropped a wrench across the battery terminals...
    Sparks, zapping, etc.
Without even thinking I removed it by hand, so it was only there maybe 2-3 seconds at most.

Do you think that my battery is toast? or maybe did I just destroy a few cells?

Test it. First inspect it for cracks or bulging in the case. Check for any leakage. Next measure the voltage. Finally do a load test. If all is normal you are probably good with your battery.

You probably damaged the wrench more than the battery, a brief short circuit shouldn't have hurt it unless it was already on it's way out.

Was the battery hooked into the truck at the time?

    Does it fire up okay?

Highly unlikely any damage was done if it was just shorted for a few seconds.

Prob more likely to pop and fuse or something and not mess up the battery.

If the truck starts and runs like before the incident, the battery is probably fine.

I’ve welded with batteries and jumper cables.
A one time deal I don’t think it affected the battery.
I would have been more concerned with truck issues..

Probably is fine. I knew a guy who used to arc weld with car batteries, and they seemed to work afterwards.

Might not be a terrible idea to throw a load tester on it before using it again like Sprig suggested though.
