Where did you see the v6 return information?

Edit: oh god you’ve been trolling stupidly for months about a truck you never owned. Disregard my question

Just by the way the repair order is worded it sounds like there are parts restrictions on the new models. They had to “reach out” to the FTS to approve an injector replacement? When I was with CDJR, anything new had complete restrictions for parts and repairs. What a complete PITA that was, I do not miss working at a dealership.
All is well, I’m glad they sorted it out for you. Don’t get down on the truck, this stuff happens that’s why you get a warranty….. and it sounds like your dealer is doing a decent job.

Nah, the point in adding the anecdote was to say the majority of 4th gen’s they get in for work has been because of the little fuckers not because of any defects. This kind of thread can bring out the haters. I also enjoyed the fact the dealer service dept had a mouse guy, and wanted to share that too. Sorry you had to read an extra few sentences!

This seems to be a frequent enough occurrence that I've seen it at least 5 or 6 times. Clearly not a "the sky is falling" type thing but I'll be watching to see if it becomes a trend.

Speaking of those little fuckers. One of them jumped on the tailgate and into the bed while I was eating my dinner right next to it on the Mohave road. While I was dumping everything in the bed looking for it, it was busy trying to chew into the trash in my trash bin that I had just laid down looking for it. All it could grab was tiny pieces of plastic through the mesh with its nails. Aggressive, because we humans are clumsy. Spent the night trying to sleep thinking about that SOB chewing into my tasty soy wires and how much a tow would cost.

They packed acorns in the engine air filter and made a nest in my cabin air filter. Been putting peppermint oil on the new cabin filter and they haven't returned.

Not really, just a hint of mint when you first turn the fan on.
