I wish I could do that! SO MANY LEAVES end up in my garage this time of year, and they never all make it out!! :annoyed:

Fastenal has, or at least had a strange business model. I used to sell to Fastenal. Some branches had one full-time employee and a couple or three part-time employees. Congratulations on your new job!

I was surprised to discover my iPhone has background sounds feature, built-in. No need for wifi to listen to the sleep channels on YouTube. I travel a lot and sometimes the hotels are so close to an interstate, it's hard to sleep.

Spent several years on the road and in hotels. Ear plugs were my friend. There was one particular incident on Valentines day I had to go to the front desk to get them to uhm... stop...

Put their head though the arm of a T-shirt and wrap the body in the rest of the shirt. It makes it much easier to control those pesky claws that way.

Went to pick up some paint at the local Ace for the kitchen. A gallon of flat paint was $56 with tax. :goingcrazy:

Pretty sure that same gallon was $45 in '22 o_O

I'll normally just use a contractor line of paint from Lowe's since we aren't too messy, but being the kitchen I wanted something nice. It better darn be! o_O

@StayinStock probably got a few gallons there at the wharehowse you can have for cheap. Just have to take a screwdriver and pry the dented lid off and pull out the thick layer inside and hope the chunk in the bottom will mix with what's separated.

You know what I'm talking about

When I started at the old job there were about 50 partial cans of paint - I'm not kidding. o_O

Some of this stuff was pushing 20 years old. We got them all in one place and sorted them by color (kind of) and started mixing them and painting bathrooms.

All was going well until I thought it odd that I seemed to have more paint in my 5 gallon mixing pail than expected...

When I turned back around I had a mushroom of foamy paint goo rising out of the pail.
    :censored:
    :nuclear:

Imagine a 5 gallon pail pumping out a giant volume of spray foam - it was about as easy to clean up too.
