    Austin,
I think you did just fine. I found a '99 xtra cab SR5 4x4 manual in 2020, private sale from the original owner who kept every scrap of paper from every service done from birth. 240k miles. It was/is in far less pristine shape than yours cosmetically, but the bones are great. I've loved driving and maintaining it. Runs perfectly, and several people have left notes under my wipers asking to buy it.
My daughter wants to road trip it next spring, so PM me about your bed set up if you want to discuss. Long shot, but it might work out.
In any case, good job picking up a gem!

awesome man. I'm very very happy with my decision so far. Lower ball joints are changed out and it was an enjoyable process. That's why I like trucks like this.. so easy to work on.

camper shell is still for sale and price is lowered to $700!

I love mine but I'd never pay that much. They can't be worth that much can they? Makes me think about selling mine, I hate car payments but I've got 20 years with mine, maybe it's time. :D

I have almost every reciept for every OEM part I've purchased and a nice complete log of all maint with milage... AAAAAND GO!
