another TRD aftermarket Grill question

Based on everyone experiences, are the TRD Pro grill kits (w/TTS Garnish, Raptor LED's) from these guys better than ones from Amazon/ebay.

And how was the delivery time from them?

Just stick to oem. The quality is a lot better because you will end up not fully happy and buying the oem one later.

 

just installed a grill from KOK auto on my 2020 SR. It shipped within a couple days of ordering and i had it within a week. no problems installing and it seems to be pretty decent quality wise.

 

FWIW, I went the full knockoff route 4 years ago and it has held up very well. Bought decals for the letters off eBay and those have held up well also.

 

I would bet a lot come from the same factory overseas. Just be careful choosing a good vendor if you go painted.

 

Tossing X-Trek's Grill Insert as an option too (https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/x-trek-grille-insert-option.521061/). I was heavily looking into going with the TRD Pro grill, but stumbled on to the X-Trek. Most people haven't heard of it. I would second @jackpro2 though, if you are set on the pro I would just go OEM to save yourself the headache in the long run--buy once, cry once as they say.

 

I too went full knockoff as we have both sand and salty mountain passes near me and didn’t feel it made sense to spend the extra just for it to get beat up. I have absolutely no complaints and TRD pro shop even sent me a replacement Toyota letter insert when I lost one of my O’s
