I've been getting real sick of the "Carolina lean" when I load the bed with gear. Probably about 200-300 lbs on a normal trip. I placed an order for ICON RXT Leaf Spring Kit. I plan on installing them on "option 2" which should definitely help the truck when loaded up. They should arrive this week, possible install this weekend.

While I'm in there, I may install a set of Bilstein 5125s.

    Let there be BED lighting!

Why the hell does Toyota think that access cab owners don't need a bed light? Easy install. Went with non-OEM bed lights.

Getting ready to install the Icon RXT leaf packs and 5125s. I’m going with option 2. I started removing the third leaf and installing the new one today. I’ll finish that up this week and also trim the 5125 sleeves.

Nice job on going with option 2. Mine was on option 2 and about a year later staring to flatten out. Need to switch mines over to option 2

    Big day!

ICON RXT leaf springs (option 2) and 5125s installed.

I took my time during the install. Probably 4 hours total. Nothing too difficult. My wheels were seized to the drums (o_O) from the salt water exposure when launching and recovering the boat.

It took some WD40 and a big hammer to get them off. Minor pain in the a$$.

Loving the new ride. Much mo’ bettah than stock!

Garage door opener with OEM style switch! Easy and cheap mod. Filling up those empty switch spots on my lower end TRD Sport model:)

Wired in the two leads from the switch onto my existing garage remote. Then tapped into existing dash light and ground. There's a good thread here on TW with a more in depth install. It works great, and I don't have to open up the glasses holder to grab the remote anymore. Highly recommend. I used this switch off Amazon

I broke a wheel stud a little while ago after wrapping up my front lift install. Gave her wayyy too much umph while torquing the wheels down (stupid, I know). Finally got around to replacing it. Easy job.

My first wash, clay bar, and wax since I bought her brand new last year. I absolutely hate doing this. But I should probably do it twice a year.

Also first carnage. I backed into a guard rail while getting a spot to camp out for surf competition. Time for a rear steel bumper!

Replacement bumper caps are easily found online, check eBay. Clean truck!

Do you have a bunch of pics of your truck by any chance? I have a blue crush and looking to do black TRD wheels and grille. Bronze wheels look good too, but I have a black smart cap coming.

This truck is stunning. It is exactly 100% what I’m searching for. Blue Crush TRD Sport access cab V6 4x4. Blue crush is hard to find on the east coast. Lots of Barcelona Red which is my second choice. Electric Lime Metallic would also be great, but I’m not sure one was ever produced. All the monotone non-metallic colors are lame in my opinion.
