    We have not put a tree up in a couple years or given each other presents . We buy what we want all during the year so it seems ridiculous to buy a bunch of presents just for Christmas. We did just get a hot tub this fall so that’s a nice chunk of change . Went to Florida this month and the wife has her girls cruise to the Bahamas in March . That’s enough. We have 2 Christmas party’s to go to so that will do . Maybe I will surprise her and go out and get a nice little blue spruce with the root ball to decorate then we can plant it out in the yard this spring . :notsure: I gotta do something right ?

    I cut a large Hackberry tree down today at the farm. My dad said it’s been in the yard as long as he can remember and he grew up there and will be 91 next month. It’s been hollow for at least 25 years with bees in it. When I cut the trunk up, the honeycomb inside was a little over 11 feet long! Here is a cross section close to the top.
