Stock right now with 275x70xr16, installing 2.25” front levelling kit soon
    Hello
I’m a new taco owner. So impressed. So eventually I’m going to the supercharger. But right now I’m changing from my 275x70r16 to 275x70xr18. I have ordered in a 2.25” front levelling kit. I’m pretty sure that offset rims are probably where I should be going. But for this winter I’m hoping that I can get by. No off-roading. But I did order in a set of wheel spacers 2”. Just in case. They are needed. This is temporary, I’m sure I will need to change out the struts for proper extension and possible. Some other front end changes also for better control and response. This is just my first step. Could not turn down the rims and rubber deal I got. Northern Alberta. Studded and ice tires. A must at this point in the weather. Any comments or suggestions are more than welcome . At this point I’m just starting. I’m not crazy about the wheel spacers , but I just wanted to get on the road with the new wheels.

Hey bud, welcome to TW. For specific comments and suggestions on your situation you may want to post over in the 2nd gen or perhaps the wheels and tires section. Good luck with things!

Welcome...don't make too many changes at once. Make a list and go with practical improvements first then get into the fun stuff..

Yes go one thing at a time. And just my opinion but go with the proper offset rim for your setup and skip the wheel spacers.
