Igniter location

I am trying to help a buddy who cannot locate the igniter on his 2.7l 4 cylinder. Thanks for any help.

 

Look on top the right (passenger side) fender well near the air filter box. That is where mine is.

Here’s the location of the igniter in my dirty ass engine bay. 3.4 V6. Probably doesn’t help since your buddy’s truck is a 2.7
I was reading about the igniter location on the 2.7 and it said something about it being inside the coil packs. Not sure if that’s exactly true though. I’ll try to find the thread. It’s here on TW.
