    You're lucky.
    Great son-in-law.
Looks fine much better than "just ok", and winter wheels aren't supposed to be show stoppers.

Regarding first aid kits: don’t forget to put Band Aids and Neosporin (or equivalent) in them! I’ve had very well-stocked first aid kits and an EMS trauma bag in our various vehicles for years, ready for stabbings, vehicle accidents, shootings, bear attacks, etc. But almost every time they’ve ever been used is because someone got a small cut or a kid scraped an arm. C-collars and BVMs don’t do me much good when someone just nicked their elbow and doesn’t want to bleed all over their clothes (or my truck!)

I'm former ski patroller. I made and keep behind rear seats 3 kits:
    1. Emergency; ie safety vest, mechanics gloves, safety traffic triangles, flares, various hand tools, etc
    2. high end first aid kit, various items, gloves, mask, cpr gear, gauze heavy and light, gauze bandages, blunt scissors, wipes, tape, etc
    3. general handy kit for band aids, clean wipes, towelettes, snacks, small water, etc
    4. all in different colors and clearly labelled

When I had my back panel out to put in sound liner, I used a piece of open cell pipe installation (for 1" diameter pipe, 1/2' thick foam) and cupped it over the vents leaving the ends open to the area behind the panel so that the vents still worked to relieve pressure. Picture's not great but you get the idea. Might be better than a pool noodle rubbing on the paint. Of course you'll still get noise with the reach window open and that's what the pool noodle might help with.

True. This band has a similar problem: Tacocat - Wikipedia. Sometimes their name gets spelled backwards by accident.

That’s a little excessive but also an astringent, deserves a pass.

Headed to mountains to start a job. More tie downs to come. Probably should have rented a trailer. Arrived in 1 piece with all my shit.

As we talk about emergency preparedness, I would recommend this. https://www.stopthebleed.org/
I have been through the instructor's course but I don't instruct. A lot more people bleed out than you are told. The Las Vegas Route 91 Shooting is an example. It's also good to know for those of us that travel off road. If I can help anyone please let me know.

It feels like there’s an unofficial competition between truck manufacturers to see who can make the most complex and expensive version of what should have been one of the most utilitarian of parts: the tailgate. Up next, the 2026 Ford F150 Raptor: Rube Goldberg edition!

That may be open cell foam, but check it out, the outer skin is NOT OPEN, and I think you just made a considerable restriction to air-flow of those vents. Not the kind that will matter to the heating blower, but could be of concern for ear-drum damage on air bag deployment. Might be worth considering.

I hung a curtain of felt behind my back panel with similar sound deadening butyl, made a noticeable difference, next step for me is to adhere 1/4" foam to the backside of the rear panels.
