Right now there's a stall door they kicked in a couple months ago we straitened it out to latch and that's it. The gaps are terrible, but we figure if people want to be a-holes like that then they can poop with friends.

Perfectly normal for a D.R. Horton build.

Hopefully there are still some plumbers active in here...
I have an ancient Bosch tankless water heater, I think it's going on around 18 years old. I know it's probably due for a replacement soon, but I'm just wondering if there are any preventive maintenance parts I can change out. What are most common failure items? The manual says that the unit needs maintenance every few months, but I have never once done maintenance in the 18 years that I've owned it.

Any ideas what might cause it to leak from there when turned on? I hook a hose up and get no pressure because of it.

Bad vacuum breaker. They screw off and can be bought at any home improvement store.

Hopefully I name the parts correctly, the issue I’m have is in my shower hot water handle, I’ve had to replace the flat washer probably 6 times in the last 14 years but now it looks like the valve seat is damaged, I’ve tried to remove it but not applying a crazy amount of force, it looks brass and I’m thinking I’m in big trouble if I strip this or it cracks. Any suggestions on how to get this thing out??? I believe it’s original from the mid 50’s but this seems to be the only issue

Somewhere, I have a set of valve seat wrenches. The hole in the middle of them is usually square and the wrench fits in there to remove it. Good like finding a new one.

Come to think of it... I think it's a single wrench that's stepped.
