    Ya.
Then you need to put the right tension on it and make sure it's all lined up.
With the folder, if one belt is off a 1/2 mm l/r they will hit grippers, tear sheets, bend corners.
But you have to loosen up other belts to replace a belt. Giving opportunity to throw something else off in the process.

And I hit my head on something.
Just another day at the office.

Aren’t you not a mechanic now or are you back to that again? You change jobs as often as Larry changes cars

My new flush mount switch came today.

@CygnusX191 had to go say something about the big dumb rocker switch.
After that it would bug me every time I looked at it.

I haven't changed jobs since I got promoted to customer.

I've just.... Added part time jobs.

And I own two tacos and enough knowledge to be dangerous. I'm never not working on vehicles. Plus I brought about 40 of my regular customers with me when I left the dealershit

That is a great choice of cover photo. And I love the subtitle. You know I'm in for 2. Probably more.

At work making the big bucks today.

If you were following my press clutch issue.
That big relay was not the problem.
Press clutch would intermittently lose signal and cause it to slip out.

The console switch had been replaced so I tracked the switch wires inside the console to a cluster of wire harnesses.20241221_072152.jpg
Unplugged the corresponding harness, gave it the old Nintendo game cartridge blow out :D and as soon as I plugged it in the clutch worked and hasn't failed since.
    Knock on wood. :fingerscrossed:

You talking about on the folder?
It isn't as bad as it looks and some fine adjustments need to be made on the fly. A couple roller knobs up on top. I certainly don't stick my hands in there.:cool:
Should've seen some of the older presses....Hit a STOP button and the press would make a full 1.5 revolutions before coming to a stop.
    Guards? ya there were some.

I love these kinds of videos too. Safety wise, I see the potential for some wicked paper cuts lol.

Can’t quite make it out at the end of the video, but is that the new Tacoma calendar hot off the press? :D

I slow down in cold weather. :D
Chase light switch is wired and through the firewall. (finally got all the pcs to the puzzle)

I like the heat shrink solder connectors. They work great.20241221_192659.jpg
    20241221_193804.jpg
Went through the driverside firewall below the hood release cable.
    20241221_194522.jpg
Took a wire coat hanger and pushed through the rubber grommet from engine side into cab. Taped it to the wire and pulled it through.

The chase light relay and it's fuse (shown on top) will be drawing from the power distribution set up in the rear d.s. cubby.
