2006 Tacoma Reg Cab 2wd, 2.7L, 4 speed auto, Black Sand Pearl Paint

2006 Tacoma Regular Cab 2wd, 2.7L VVT-i, 4 cylinder, 4 speed automatic, Color:Black Sand Pearl. Asking 11k but open to reasonable offers.

Vehicle Overview:
2.7L Engine is brand new top to bottom. I had a spare engine that was machined at Weber Auto Machine, Sanford, FL. New crankshaft, rods, pistons, bearings, bolts and oil pan installed. All bearing clearances measured by 2 separate machinist prior to assembly and verified with plastigauge for accuracy. OEM O-rings were used entirely for longevity. Completely new timing components. Balance Shaft Delete from LC Engineering installed.
Cylinder head rebuilt by Weber Machine as well with new lifters and seals and oem MLS head gasket. New Denso water pump. All fasteners meticulously torqued to angle with brand new digital torque wrenches and notated in engine assembly manual. CSF Racing Aluminum Radiator and hoses replaced a couple years ago. The exhaust was upgraded to a Borla stainless steel muffler. New OEM Air Injection Pump, OEM Hose, and aftermarket Air injection pump were just installed as well. 8/14/24 Just did the oil change and filter this evening.

Transmission is serviced regularly with Amsoil Transmission fluids and OEM filter. Vehicle is equipped with an external oil cooler since 2007 to keep temps down. New hoses installed when the engine was swapped out. At 300k the trans and differential fluids were changed and are in excellent condition and won't need to be changed for a while. There are zero issues with the trans. It shifts perfectly as the day it was new!

Body, repainted oem Black Sand Pearl by Miguel the owner of Ultimate Auto Collision Center in Winter Park, FL. I added a new Sport hood, 2011 grille painted body color. The mirrors were removed and painted as well as window trims. New Oem roof moldings installed. Rear window removed and resealed. AlphaRex Hid headlights added and were clear-coated for extra protection and upgraded with Led bulbs. Aftermarket fogs with LED bulbs. Taillights upgraded and with Leds. License plate lights upgraded. Bed has ATC Bed Slide. Camper Shell is a quality ARE brand. Entire vehicle has been wet-sanded and polished post paint and 2 weeks ago completely polished and ceramic coated with CarPro CQuartz UK 3.0 and topped with NV Car Care Nova Jet Hydrophobic Spray Coating. All glass treated with CarPro Spotless Water Spot Remover to remove etchings and then polished and coated.

Suspension/steering/brakes: Toyota Reman rack and pinion with new power steering filter and hoses installed. New Toyota lower rag joint at bottom of steering column, and New Toyota clock Spring. OEM Tacoma X-Runner Bilsteins installed with XII Performance Custom Coil Springs, X-runner rear sway bar with S.O.S Performance Swaybar mounting kit installed. Rear has OEM leaf springs with helper springs. New Greenstuff front brake pads, Stainless Steel brake Hoses as well. Cryogenically treated rotors. Rear drum brakes have been replaced with new shoes and drums a couple years ago.

Wheels are Foose Legends 20" Gloss Black, Brand new Falken Ziex ZE960 A/S tires just installed and alignment done last month. FYI these tires are amazing in the rain. Great grip and plow through heavy water without any hydroplaning!

Interior is in excellent condition. Bench seat replaced with extended cab bucket seats and furniture grade butter soft Italian leather with light silver stitching by Doug at Drop Top Interiors. Custom leather wrapped steering wheel with perforated sides and thumb grips added from Redline Goods.com. Sony Touchscreen Radio, Navigation, Apple Car Play and Android Auto, backup camera and Kenwood door speakers. Weathertech floor mats as well. Also has remote start for those hot Florida summers.

As you can problably tell I'm a car NUT and love my vehicles, taking care of them and making them shine! The truck is getting it's first oil change since breaking in the new engine with amsoil 5w20 Signature Series this week and a small ding will be removed from the fender that my dear mechanic buddy put in there when he did the motor swap. Other than that the truck is as near perfect as possible and will be sorely missed! The Taco was gifted to my wife when her dad passed away. He was the second owner and had purchased it in 2007ish i think. The title is clear and the truck has never been in an accident. New engine was installed at 347k and current mileage is 354806 as of 12/21/2024.
