Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Having a lousy mobility week, but at least I'm still moving! Could have asked for some better playoff games, but at least the Horns got my heart some exercise! We won't get the Lions/Bears here today, so it's watch the score on the phone while I watch something else. GO LIONS!

Good morning fellow old people!
So... been losing weight finally, after 20 years+ of gaining weight (I blame Baja's excellent food and beer).
My all time high was 235, but my typical weight has been around 225. Today, I am at 197... plugging away, slowly the past year. I think the sciatica pain helps a lot, ugh! When you're hurting, you're not hungry... at least that is the case for me.
At last week's Baja Bound* Christmas party, two guests said I looked thinner (at least in my face, as I still have a bit of a beer belly).

Good morning! So I was thinking how much I enjoy Christmas morning...you know, that precious time of quiet before everyone else gets up? Get the cast iron pan warmed up for breakfast...while I'm enjoying the best cup of coffee ever. Breakfast on Christmas morning...do you have a go-to tradition? My favorites are eggs cooked any way, with sausage gravy over biscuits, bacon, grits, sliced tomato with mayo, a fresh orange or tangerine to finish.

I have a Christmas tradition of making plum pudding Jim, will be picking up suet and other fresh ingredients today to make them. Wouldn't be Christmas without a plumb pudding, besides that, I get to trade a buddy who likes them for delicious Christmas cookies that his wife makes!

Haven't seen a buck on any cameras since the 1st rut.

Have 2 in the freezer, but wouldn't mind another fat doe. They're all nocturnal though.

Funny you mentioned flu Carl. Here I sit in the hospital with the flu and a touch of pneumonia . Wife have me take an ambulance ride Friday night and hopefully they will, let me out today. Covid tested negative. I just hope they get to what the issue with Dave's wife.
