N2 designs remote start

Hey yall. I just installed the n2 designs remote start kit on my Tacoma. It works perfect but when I open the door and it turns off. My fog lights flicker a time or two. Is this normal?

N2 makes an upgrade to prevent this, check their site.

 

I looked but I wasn’t able to find anything. Can you drop a link?

 

It's normal. It's mentioned that the engine shuts off right on their site for the regular remote start kit.


They also offer a kit that doesn't do this which is new this year.

I’m not too concerned about the truck turning off. The problem is after it does it flickers all the inside lights and the fog lights like two three times after it does

 

I have the N2 as well, I will try to remember to look at mine, and see if it does it.

 

Sorry, I forgot- I had dealer do the Tacoma’s,,, like a dummy, that’s before I knew of N2. I did install N2 on my GF’s 4R,, but not sure that’s an exact comparison.
