This thread is for anyone with a 3g Tacoma that’s installed a cage. If you want to share your pics or get advise let us know. I bought the TE Designs cab/engine Cage kit. Recently welded in the engine cage and tied it into my shock mounts. I’ll be tying the engine cage into the cabe cage after I’m done moving. I know of a couple people out thier currently who are working on installing the te kit into their 3g tacos. Below are some photos of the engine cage I installed. I did have to do some modifications as the kit did not totally fit up as specified in the schematic. Specifically the smaller straight tubes where not cut to the dimensions specified.

So I’m installing this cab cage pretty soon. Does anyone know if theirs a tutororial on how to remove the entire front dash assembly and center console in the 3rd gen Tacoma?

I’d have to look up serifs info.
But I’d imagine the steps for replacing the heater core would would be a good guide.
As you’d have to pull most of the dash to replace it.

This is one of those jobs where you just have to “work the puzzle” as you go.
Any “guide” isn’t really going to work for everyone.

The phrase, “Nothing to it, but to do it”, is way to go.
