Yep and same goes for underground and even cement which was a Scion color and fj color, etc. Toyota just recycles stuff for the most part. Pyrite mica, spruce green, some of those 2 year one model runs are truly unique.

I think they need to do another run of Pyrite Mica, Cement, Inferno, Cavalry blue, Army green, etc. Lots of good colors to repeat.

Although I have boring silver, I would change to a wilder color if one comes out I like. Silver is super low maintenance but I would trade it in for Inferno. Loved that color.

Serious question: Does the Gen 4 have artificial engine noises piped over the sound system?

I thought there was a thread not long ago that said you needed Carista to disable the ANC and ESE?

Oops, my bad. @Snakepilot is right. That setting is disabled via Carista.

FYI, the difference isn’t drastic but I wanted to hear the engine without augmentation.

Sorry, I get confused where some of the changes were made. I did this like six weeks ago.

Lol, don’t believe the hyper’s. No there isn’t. It does not create an “artificial” sound.
If you read up above, all it is, is a cold air intake and tuned exhaust which TRD has been running for years and years and years. This is nothing new. They stifled back the standard 2.4 turbo engine and just opened it up in the more expensive models. And all the AMC is, is an anti-drone tube to cancel out cabin drone, which all aftermarket exhaust have been doing for years and years.

Only the automatic transmission version. Manual does not have that "feature".

Sheldon talks about how the ESE "enhances" the intake/exhaust sound and that the Pro tune (software) is specific to that model. Goes on to say if you upgrade an iForce with the TRD intake/exhaust you can get a new tune/software to enhance it.

Is enhanced artificial? They're not trying to make it sound like a V8 but if you're on steroids, you're "enhanced" or not "natty" - so "artificial". :)

Has anyone seen or heard if the Pro can be equipped with the high air intake from factory or the port?

I disagree, I think you guys are using the word artificial incorrectly. Is it modified and is it contouring a map or a changing of how air is flowed and diverted, absolutely. that is not artificial, that is modifying, Artificial sound would be them creating a pre-recorded sound through the speakers like in the movie
    “The dilemma”
which was done on an electric car

You would have thought, since that was designed for dust that the pro would have been the perfect candidate for that snorkel and not the TH. That one never made sense to me.
