    Hello and Merry Christmas!

My wife and I just got back from a 10-day honeymoon, and upon returning to my truck I discovered that I wasn't the only one enjoying the warm cab. Attracted to my exquisite music taste and totally not the stack of napkins, a mouse had set up shop somewhere in my truck.

I cleaned everything out and removed the cabin air filter. While my friend hadn't chewed through the filter, he had made a good mess of it.

I set a live trap, armed with pieces of the finest store-brand string cheese, and sure enough, I caught the culprit the next morning.

After relocating the stowaway, I decided to follow BlackBeerd's thread "Cabin Air Intake Screen Mod," and hopefully deter any more visitors.

I drive my truck daily, so I'm not too concerned about them returning, but if I can do anything to help myself, I will. While I was installing the mesh, I found their entrance. I'll be putting something over the fender holes once it warms up a little.

Thanks for reading, maybe I'll get around to making a build thread while it's still slow at work for the holidays. Merry Christmas!

You’re lucky it wasn’t your wires.

The thing with these mice nowadays is that seem to do as they please.
Be proactive and put up some no trespassing signs immediately.
