Sold her to my next door neighbor. After 11 years of faithful and trouble free service it was time to retire her. BTW she was made in Mexico

I was very generously gifted a set of those Rough Country Neoprene seat covers so I got those put on.

Also grabbed a set of the Rough Country seat covers, well for a 3rd gen because I only needed the front two seats. Fit well enough! I have put 30k miles on in just over a year of ownership, the brakes were beginning to feel a bit mushy so replaced the front rotors and pads. Went with Advics as I read about them being an OEM supplier, we'll see how they hold up over the miles going forward. Have family in town for the holidays, used my dad to help do a full brake fluid flush the old fashioned way. Nothing like father son bonding time bleeding brakes for 30 minutes! My side mirror had been getting loose, took all of 2 minutes and a torx T25 bit to fix something that's been bugging me for months. Sometimes I wonder about myself... Merry Christmas everyone!

Finally got all the parts to be fully armored, transmission skid, transfer case skid, sliders. I already have the engine and fuel tank skids installed.
I'll be installing them in the next couple months, just in time for Spring.

Blocks hvac controls a bit but not a huge issue. Its on there SOLID. I used a magsafe to 1/4 tripod mount for my galaxy fold and TEQ’s walkie mount for my baofeng. The walkie mount is specific to the older thin style baofeng clips so I had to order one of those and modify it to work on my UV5G plus. After some trial and error its mounted as intended.

Did you use self tappers for the install? I’ve had my eye on this thing, but I dunno if I want to use thread inserts in case I have to disassemble the dash.

    Two things...

    1. Are those covers installed on the wrong sides..? I feel like I see the airbag tabs on the airbag sides of the seats - or that's how mine are, at least.
    2. What covers are those, and are you happy with them? I moved my 3G covers to my 2G, but the fit is just a bit off and it bugs me in a very low key manner. I kind of dig the saddle blanket aesthetic, NGL...

Both seats have the tag in the same spot. That’s how mine are. I love them!

The airbag tag and features are on both sides of each seat
Here's the link, I like them fit wise and they're comfy. I had carharts in my last ride and liked them but for $30 I grabbed these

Yeah the kit came with self tappers, I don't know if you would have room for inserts. I think there's enough material that you could take it apart and put it back together a couple times if needed because this thing is solid and not going anywhere.

Gave it a way overdue wash, 2 months. :anonymous:

Seen the H1 and had to take a pic next to it. Actually thought these things were a lot bigger, definitely wide though! Magazine and online pictures made them look huge but in person, definitely not.
