Why progress has been kinda slow....It has been the hottest and driest summer on record in Phoenix and we've also destroyed the previous record for days in a row above 110f (40 days as of today). Looks like some reprieve is coming...LMFAO no AC in the shop

I finally got around to installing the Remmen brake upgrade kit I won on a T3G instagram/ forum contest. The brake upgrade definitely makes a difference! I did the obligatory post brake job pull out of my driveway mash the gas till about 60 mph then hard stop and they are noticeably better !!

I had to pull the glamper project out of my tiny shop to make room for the truck. It actually looks allot smaller out of the small work space.

I added the RCI aluminum transmission and T-case skids to complete the set.

They are built really well. RCI is great to deal with! Always reasonable lead times and good customer service

All I can say is soon. Life changes happened which have kept me away from tools and the house. Should be back at in a month or so.

The end has come I had allot of good times in Taco but she's been sitting allot lately and was time to let her go. We needed more pulling power for trailers and good commuter , unfortunately the taco wasnt very good at either . I realize I haven't been active here in a long time but I started thinking about this community and how much fun I had here on TW after I sold it. In all honesty all other owners forums suck in comparison.

Nice to hear from you, it has been along time. I agree with you about this forum, good group. I moved over to the Tundra forum, its good there too. What did you end up buying?
